RCA SECRET EXHIBITION 2018 it's time for the annual RCA Secret Event. 3 new original postcards are winging their way to the show for the 15th consecutive year! Doors open for Viewing Day on Friday November 30th, 12–7pm. Choose Your Postcard Saturday, 1st December 12–6pm, Sunday 2nd and Monday 3rd, 10am–6pm. Collection Day Thursday 6th December, 4–8pm. Free admission. All cards on sale for donation of £60, in aid of bursaries for RCA students. This years's show runs at the Dyson Building, Royal College of Art, Battersea from 9th–15th September, 2017. New and established collectors can take home an original postcard-sized artwork for £55. All proceeds go to RCA Fund providing scholarships and bursaries for RCA studants. http://www.rca.ac.uk/secret Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours 205th Exhibition – April 2017 Two of Gill's paintings have been accepted for the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours 205th Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London, this Spring. The exhibition opens on Thursday 6th April, 10am-5pm (closed all day on Easter Sunday, 16th April) and closes on Saturday 22nd April at 1pm. Mottisfont Open Show 2016 Gill is participating in this year's Open Exhibition at Mottisfont, nr Romsey, Hampshire, SO51 0LP. 1st October – 13th November. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/mottisfont/features/exhibitions-at-mottisfont RCA SECRET 2016 – London and Dubai Gill is taking part once again in this annual show of original postcards – now in its 22nd year – raising money to fund bursaries and scholarships for students in need of financial support to help them complete their studies at RCA. The show of 2,000 original postcards by internationally acclaimed artists, designers, actors, musicians, celebrities, RCA alumni and current students, is open in London 7 - 15 April, 2016, Upper Gulbenkian Gallery, Royal College of Art, Kensington: Dubai exhibition opens 16 - 19 March, 2016, Art Dubai, Madinat Jumeirah. All works are for sale at £55 each in London and 500AED in Dubai. The Secret? Each postcard will be anonymous, with the creator only being revealed once the card is bought by a collector. http://www.rca.ac.uk/secret Making a Viola – West Dean Foyer Exhibition A selection of Gill's recent series of drawings and paintings following the process and progress of making a viola will be on show at West Dean College, Sussex from 15th – 30th August 2015. The college will be open to the general public on 16th August, during the International Guitar Festival. Works are for sale and a catalogue of the complete series is available to purchase. http://www.westdean.org.uk Dinosaurium: Reimagined Creatures Gill has been working in conjunction with Hampshire Cultural Trust's Natural History Collection on some new paintings of fossils which will be included in the forthcoming exhibition at Winchester Discovery Centre's City Space, Jewry Street, SO23 8SB. Once this area was covered by the sea, and the familiar chalk landscape we recognise today is composed of fossil remains of marine creatures. Dinosaurium runs from 11th July – 6th September 2015. Part of Dinofest2015 events. http://dinofest2015.co.uk/event/dinosaurium Changing Perspectives: Winchester Gold Gill is one of 60 Wessex artists who will be exhibiting contemporary paintings, sculptures and ceramics - art work will be available from £150 - £3,000+. The exhibition will be open to the public on Saturday 14 March from 10am-7pm and on Sunday 15 March from 10am-4pm. This year's contributions have just been posted off for the annual RCA Secret 2015 Exhibition. The postcards will be on show at the Dyson Gallery at RCA from 12th March 2015, and will go on sale, to support student bursaries, on 21st March. Music in the form of dance and also the craft of instrument-making feature strongly among themes explored in this year's show. The ING Discerning Eye Exhibition 2013 Gill's work has been selected for the forthcoming ING Discerning Eye Exhibition at The Mall Galleries, The Mall, London SW1, 14th November – 24th November.
